Apologies that there was still a lot of setup in this chapter. But we did get to some good stuff by the end. I promise next weekends chapter will have multiple age changes as the group begins exploring the house in earnest. As I did last week, there will probably be multiple this or thats and polls throughout the week to determine what happens next time. Also please continue sharing your thoughts and ideas as I enjoy hearing them and they may just find their way into the story!

I'd say option 2, assuming that she still remembers of course. No fun at all if they completely forget.

"They ran downstairs, past the dining room and around into dining room."
I hate to be rude, but what did you mean by this?

"They ran downstairs, past the dining room and around into dining room." I hate to be rude, but what did you mean by this? Ha this was me trying to figure out where in the house the maid would be that would make the most sense, I was originally going to place her in the gallery where she saw her aged reflection but it seemed too involved to get the girls there so I ended up just placing her in the dining room and missed editing the first part of the direction. So the sentence should read: "They ran downstairs, into the Eastern hallway and left into the dining room." Also - for those asking about Ms. Crimson remembering her youth if you pick option 2: oh she'll remember!

Option 1
I like the nice grand/great niece debate as well as the surprise "illusionary" or "momentary" aging of the maid.
And I hate to nitpick, but I don't think redheads go grey (at least from what limited research I've done, but I'm willing to be corrected).

Kind of. They take a lot longer to go grey, and so maybe the depiction of her hair is a bit unusual. Still, it's not unheard of, and I think we can allow Chrono some creative liberties.
After all, I sincerely doubt that certain celebrities will suddenly swell up in their old age, and yet your stories often depict that scenario.

Option 1 I like the nice grand/great niece debate as well as the surprise "illusionary" or "momentary" aging of the maid. And I hate to nitpick, but I don't think redheads go grey (at least from what limited research I've done, but I'm willing to be corrected). That does seem to be the case with a lot of redheads, however it doesn't seem to be universal. At least two anecdotal examples I have are my grandfathers second wife and her daughters (my mothers step-sisters) who were all red-heads when they were young. My grandfathers wife lived into her 90s and just kind of woke up one day with a full head of white hair when she was in her 80s. Her daughters are now in their late 60s/early 70s and have white mixed in with their faded red. But where I was actually drawing some of my inspiration for the streaks of grey for 50 year old Ms. Crimson was this woman named Donna who worked in the student center at my college. She was a redhead with grey streaks on either side of her hair, probably about 50ish at the time. This was while That 70s Show was on the air and my friends and I would joke that this woman was the actual Donna Pinciotti, if she aged in real time (The woman did bear a striking resemblance to what I imagine Laura Prepon looking like at 50) so the idea of a redhead with grey streaks always stuck with me. But again, I appreciate the discourse! I'm glad folks are enjoying the story. Keep weighing in on how you want the group to respond to Ms. Crimsons AP and i'll be posting a new poll tonight!

I really like the second part however I do wish the change would have been a little slower ,like while their talking or something like that and not instant.

Well if the This Or That is stilled tied come Saturday I'm going to pick whichever option I think is the most fun. But to keep things lively II've a new This Or That question for the weekend: This Or That: Russell discovers he has a thing for MILFs and pursues the now matronly Ms. Crimson or Russell is turned off by how much older Crimson looks and turns his attentions back to Amy Blonde.
