Greetings everyone and Merry Christmas. In order to get my muse of writing (in general) going again, plus as a present to all of you, I'm doing another "This or That" thread. This one is going to be based off the popular Star Trek franchise, and I will be doing characters from The Next Generation (TNG), Deep Space 9 (DS9), Voyager (VOY), and Enterprise (ENT). I will not be doing any from the Original Series (TOS), as most of series (with the exception of Enterprise), is set in the 24th Century. I will also not being doing Discovery, as I haven't seen the show, nor the rebooted film series. I will be doing one character in each segment, unless you want me to do more characters in the segment, by your posts. Please note that by the end of each segment, the character(s) will be quite old (in their 90s or older), thin and frail, as it is my personal preference. However, getting to that point will be up to you, so if you want the character(s) to become round before becoming thin and frail, put that down in your post once we get up to the point that you want.
Now, onto the first segment, which is The Next Generation. Since there are only two main female characters, we'll start off with them. So...
Dr. Beverly Crusher
or
Counselor Deanna Troi
or
Both of them?

Sorry about the delay in replying folks, wanted to give everyone Christmas off before continuing. However, it seems that the popular opinion is that they want both ladies, so that's what it'll be. So the next question is, what Enterprise should this take place on?
Enterprise-D (Galaxy-class, show era)
or
Enterprise-E (Sovereign-class, movie era)

Hmm... they'd start off younger if you go D.
Are you putting into perspective plot? 🤔
Like, are you focusing on the collapse of the Romulan Empire, the reconstruction of Cardassia, or Captain Riker of the U.S.S Titan? Stuff like that, nerd stuff that makes this very much a fan fiction 😄

The two ladies will probably mention that kind of stuff as they get older, but I won't go into major details regarding them. Make sense?

Kinda. Still, We're talking a good chunk of time between D and E.

With only 2 votes, the setting will be on the Enterprise-D. I'm going to set it roughly around Season 4 of the show, though if you guys think it should be earlier, let me know. I've also decided to do this before the end of the year (there's less than 30 minutes before midnight for me).
So, how should Beverly and Deanna age?
A transporter accident causes them to age and every time they go into the transporter to get younger, they become older?
Or
An alien virus causes them to age rapidly?

The second option.
That being said, and aging virus actually did happen on that series.
During the season when Katherine Pulaski replaced Beverley, there was a research station that was working on genetically modified children that had some sorta virus that rapidly aged the staff.
