I was thinking today that maybe what the site needs to get us through the doldrums of fall is a new story contest.
This is what I'm thinking:
- Contest runs for the month of November - No restriction in length - The only criteria is that all stories must: A) Involve some form of Age Progression transformation B) Have a beginning, middle and end - Stories will all be posted here and once all submissions are in we'll post a group poll for people to vote on the winner.
If you have any suggestions for rules/restrictions/themes or ideas beyond these that you think would be good to include please chime in below.
I'm not sure what the grand-prize will be (could just be bragging rights). But if you have any ideas or suggestions also let me know in this thread.
I've set up a poll to see what interest we have. I'd say if 3 or more people are up for participating then let's do it!

Well, i would participate in this, but english is not my first language and i am a sience person, so i dont know how to write stories Understandable, this is a common limitation and mentality. One, writing stories in English could actually help improve your skills. It's a step up from reading and just behind talking with a fluent speaker. Just one short story whenever you can, revised here and there, could benefit you substantially. Two, the best thing to write is what you want to read. For example, here's a format that I'm going to fill out just for examples. 😘 What do you want to see? A Middle aged Lunch Lady smoking cigarettes in a run down trailer. How do you want it to start? I want the main character to be a vain and shallow, blonde valley girl who calls one of the Lunch Ladies on staff a fat old hag. How old do you want her to end up? Around 50. And I want her to weigh around 200 pounds. What are your focuses on the transformation? Her gut, her tits, her hair, her face, and her ass. How will she transform? I want her to masturbate weight and years. How much time will elapse? Maybe three or four sessions of flicking the bean? Anyways, hope this helps ya out, cyberbady ❤️

It's at the very least a learning experience and an exercise to improve. 👍🏽
Heck, you could even consider it a personal workshop. At least in the sense to help with grammar, syntax, etcetera.

This may be ambitious but... What if it was, like, a MUSE story with $500 Amazon gift card payout (I'd provide the payout). Work in progress thought here, but...I would give a topic and some SUPER-general parameters (nothing restrictive, just to make it fun), and then everyone writes a story. Then off each story I would give a sort of place to go with it for a "sequel", and then anyone participating in the contest could jump into ANYONE ELSE'S storyline for their part 2. Each winner (part 1 and part 2) gets a $250 gift card sent to their PM by me.
Something like that? Just trying to think of ways to make it interesting. A friend of mine does Flash Fiction story contests, where you get basic parameters and then turn something around quick, but this could be a little more long-form. Could be a bad idea or we could adapt it. JJust throwing stuff out there.

Flash Fiction Contests do range on word caps. I've seen contests ranging from 50 to 4,000 Words Max.

I'll try one. I have ideas I just can't do dialog. Comes from my social anxiety. That's why I'm the silent moderator lol

But Chrono's sounds more like an event for the community. Definitely vibes with a relaxed kinda atmosphere. I'd love to see your stuff, tbh. I read a lot from manga to poetry. You really get to know a person from the words they write down, ya know. 😄👍

I'm a little wary of setting a topic that everyone works off of because it may stifle creativity and participation. In my mind 'Age Progression' is enough of a topic for everyone to go off of. I know I for one am someone who prefers to write the ideas in my head as opposed to forming a story around a specific prompt. But I do know that other people enjoy having a prompt to go off because it helps them by giving them a launching board to get their writing going. What kind of topics or prompts were you thinking of?

Super-general stuff that’s left VERy open to interpretation. Like Redhead Shower scene Cellulite
HOw those all play into the story is up to you and your creativity. Like the shower scene could be, say, the main piece of the story or the whole story. Or it could bel the start. The redhead might not even be the main character. She might just walk by. The cellulite might be on...another woman in Lesbian scene?
It’s meant to be sorta fun and random and just add a bit of structure. Just not the structure we may think or expect.

I'd like to pitch that prompts can help people write a story.
For example, if a prompt was more structured like this:
~600 words max. ~must involve the use of a cursed ring ~minimum of one person aged ~etcetera ~etcetera

Yeah I think super general prompts sound great! So i'd say since we have 4 - 8 people that will potentially participate let's do it. Tree, will you do the honors of coming up with the prompts and guidelines. Does December 2nd sound like a good deadline? And I can make a thread for participants to post their entries.

And remember the prompts are supposed to be fun. Use them as tightly or loosely as you want :-)
