Not entirely sure where to put this at, but since it's mostly about my writing, I think that this is the appropriate folder to put it in. Plus, I already have 9 threads that I created in here, so I figured I'd make it an even 10. Anyway, this thread will provide you all with updates on my writing, I don't want to put it in the Shoutbox, which seems to fluctuate with activity, and some of my stuff that I post on there would get lost.
To start things off, my "Pick an Elderly Character" story with an elderly 13th Doctor is currently on hold. My muse for it has dipped, and I have other projects on my mind. Hopefully my muse for it will rise again once the new season (series as they call it in the UK) starts back up on New Years Day (January 1, 2020). Also, my old age Alice Cullen story is also on hold for the same reasons as above. Once I get my other projects done, my muse for it should return, and I can begin to write it again.
I am currently working on two individual old age stories. The first is over on DeviantArt for a member with the username, Dr-Syn. The second one is for jero17, which I will begin to write once I get done with the Dr-Syn story. With the holidays being around, I've been working more, which in turn has turned my muse down. Luckily, I'm off on the 10th and the 12th of this month. My goal is to write those two stories those days, if not, they should be done by the end of the week.
In addition to those two individual stories, and with Christmas right around the corner, I plan on writing a Christmas themed old age story. I'm still sorting out the details, but the main plot is based loosely based off of the television show, Once Upon a Time. In the story, which will be set in alternate universe, Regina Mills also known as the Evil Queen, is old, alone, and angry. During the holidays, she meets a young orphan (I'm still debating on who the orphan is), and while initially cold and mean to the child, eventually warms up to them, creating a small Christmas miracle. Please note that I might ditch the idea all together and come up with another one. Depending on my muse, I should have it up by Christmas, if not, New Years at least.
If anyone has any ideas for an old age story that you want me to write, feel free to let me know, or if you have any thoughts and/or suggestions in general, let me know.

Just doing a quick update. The stories for jero17 on here and Dr-Syn on DeviantArt are currently on hold. Instead, I will be doing the old age Christmas story first, then the others.
Instead of doing an elderly Regina Mills meeting an orphan, I will be making it a story of friendship between an elderly Regina and an elderly Emma. Both ladies are alone and generally mad at the world. Finding that they have their mutual anger, they become friends.

Okay, I've decided that I won't be doing the Christmas story. With Christmas being just a few days away and me working (I work in retail), I've been too busy to write anything at all. I might be able to do the two stories that I owe by the end of the year, but I'm not positive about it. I will however, make the elderly Emma and elderly Regina story that I was going to write, a love story, but it will most likely happen at some point after the new year. The "Pick an Elderly Character" story with an elderly 13th Doctor is still on hold. We'll see what happens when the new season starts off on New Years Day.

With the elderly Regina and elderly Emma from Once Upon A Time, I was thinking of using these pictures (which I aged through FaceApp), as inspiration. What do you guys think?

They are very good, in fact, I imagined them like that more or less

Thanks. The only downside of the app so far, is that you can't change the hair color.
I kind of imagine them being smokers. I get a lot of older ladies in my store who buy cigarettes, so I would think that they would meet that way. Either one of them, both old, in an assisted living home, coming up to the other one, and asking for a cigarette.

Happy New Year everyone. I wanted to do an update post yesterday, on New Year's, but I just wasn't feeling it, so I'm doing it today. So, I have a few updates on stories that I will be writing. First off, the two stories that I owe, the one for Dr-Syn over on DeviantArt, and the other for jero17, will be worked on first, for the most part. I should be having those done by the end of January, hopefully. I'm still willing to take commissions, so feel free to send me a PM either on here or over on DeviantArt, so we can get something set up. Not really a second, but an honorable mention. I did write for the winter contest on here. The story's called, Becoming Old Again. If you haven't checked it and haven't voted yet, you can read the story, and vote here. Please note that you have until 10pm tonight (Jan 2, 2020) to vote. Even if you already voted, for either myself or another entrant, or miss your chance to vote, check out my story (and the others) either way. Please note that I've decided not to vote myself, just to be fair to the other constants. Second, after watching the season (or series as seasons are called outside the U.S.) premiere of Doctor Who, with a new episode airing on the 5th (with new episodes airing every Sunday), I'm bringing back my "Pick an Elderly Character" story with an elderly 13th Doctor. As I stated in another thread, things will be different for that particular interactive story. Each chapter (post in the thread) will have an elderly version of the 13th Doctor and their companion/caregiver/carer (the reader), as they visit elderly versions of characters from across the multiverse. Each character visited will be chosen by the reader. For example, they would visit an elderly Catherine "Kate" Middleton, in which she is actually the Queen of the United Kingdom, or they visit an elderly Diana Prince-Wayne, who was formally known as Wonder Woman, and is the wealthy widow of Bruce Wayne. In addition to the new episode that premiered, BBC America was airing reruns of episodes of the show since the reboot, which started on Christmas. One of those episodes, a Christmas Special, was "Last Christmas", in which we got to see an elderly Clara Oswald. Because of that, I've decided that I'm going to write a story about a year in the life of elderly Clara. This Clara will an AU (alternate universe) take on the one from "Last Christmas". This will take place in the present (2020) and will also be a casual story, as I will be writing chapters each month, roughly at least two chapters a month, maybe one, or more than that, but at least two. In this story, Clara will have degenerating arthritis, which, throughout the year, will rob her of her independence, as she starts off with using a cane to get around, before ending up in a wheelchair. Also, I will having it to where she was a famous teacher, who taught in every country in Europe (she states that she did so in the episode) and in state the United States. Because of that, she will get letters from former students and will write back to them. I will also have it to where she's in a pen pal program with a child/children (as part of various school programs), and will be writing to them regularly (possibly a few times a month, depending on how I feel). Again, this will be a casual story, so when I do post it, I'll let everyone know. Lastly, I will be working on my elderly Emma Swan and elderly Regina Mills love story. I'm changing one thing, they will be living in a 55+ (senior citizen) neighborhood, not in an assisted living home, and will be next door neighbors. This was inspired by the 55+ neighborhood that's across the street from me in real life, in which I will be using as a setting (fyi, I live in Arizona). I'll work on that throughout the year as well, though I should be starting it by the end of the month. That's all the updates for now. I'll post more later.

Damn, I realized that I haven't posted on here in like 6 months. I guess with everything that's happened to me recently, my muse to write has gone down to basically nothing. Right now, any projects that I've previously discussed on this thread are currently on hold. I think once I get my writing muse up in general, I'll come back to some of them, but we'll see. Though I've recently had three ideas that I might do.
First, I'm thinking about exploring the life of Samantha Carter-O'Neill from the Stargate franchise. I did a short story over on DeviantArt (I'm not sure if I posted it on here or not), regarding a 105 year old Samantha interacting with her great-granddaughter, Sammie. I was thinking about exploring her life at that age as a continuation of that story.
Second, I was thinking about doing a story of an elderly Beverly Crusher (from Star Trek: The Next Generation), based off the episode, "Remember Me". In that episode, members of the crew disappear and only Beverly remembers them. It turns out that she was taken to a universe of her own creation, which is shrinking. For my story, Beverly was taken to the alternate universe, which she is all alone (the technology, star ships, transporters, replicators, etc, are all there and functioning), and has spent the past 50+ years looking for another person.
Third, is a non-AP Sliders stories (yes, multiple stories), with Quinn Mallory and Rembrandt Brown being joining by my OC character, as they travel to alternate dimensions, and have their group expand.
The Sliders stories have been in my mind for a while, since the show starting airing on Comet TV, and would be a good way to get my muse back. The elderly Beverly Crusher story has been in my mind for a while as well, but I'm not sure if I want to do it or not. Anyway, I'll try to post on here more often and give everyone updates.

Are you still thinking about going on with your 13th Doctor idea and if so did you like or dislike the Timeless Child storyline if you Indeed enjoy it do you think it would be interesting to work it in into your aging elderly 13th Doctor Doctor Who story?

I totally get the writers block as well,I have a bunch of half finished stories that I can’t seem to finish. I really like the sliders idea. Might be interesting if they went to a world where being old is desirable just as being young is here. everyone just can’t wait to get old with Girls dying their hair grey and getting artificial wrinkles . Lots of possibilities with alternative universes i can’t wait to see what you come up with

At the moment, I'm not going to work on the 13th Doctor idea. As for the Timeless Child storyline, I might work that into the story, but I might have it to where the Doctor finds a child who was like her, and doesn't die, just regenerates. We'll see about it, though for now, it's not even on my mind.

It'll just be normal fanfics in hopes to get my muse up. If my muse does come up, I might do a couple of stories involving AP, but we'll see how things go.

I've been thinking of a way to age Jodie Whittaker's Doctor, and I think I've thought of something. Peter Capaldi's Doctor met a young man named Chris Steele, a character of my creation, who can absorb and manipulate energy. Chris can absorb the life energy of a person, aging them in the process. Well, after meeting and confirming that Jodie's Doctor is the same Doctor, they get into an incident in which a bad guy shoots at the Doctor and her "family". Chris, unable to do anything to change the direction of the bullet, steps in and takes it. Jodie's Doctor, decides to give him her life energy in order to save him, causing her to age into her 80s/90s. In the end, instead of regenerating, Jodie's Doctor stays as an old woman, using a cane (which is actually a sonic cane), and glasses (which could be sonic glasses), and would keep her personality.
What do you guys think?

Since my last post about a day ago, I've been thinking about the elderly 13th Doctor a bit more. With rumors of Bradley Walsh (Graham O'Brien) and Tosin Cole (Ryan Sinclair) possibly leaving after the upcoming holiday episode (either Christmas or New Years), "Revolution of the Daleks", or after the newest season, I was thinking about having my character, Chris Steele, stay on as one of her new companions, with Yasmin "Yaz" Khan being the other one. That way, after I write it, I could always go back to that set up for any future stories I want to do with an elderly 13th Doctor. Anyway, just mulling things over in my head.
