On the second day of This or That, Kappa tries something different...
Most people, after stealing their half-brother's buggie in the middle of the night, causing thousands of dollars worth of property damages at a McDonald's parking lot, would be grateful the charges were dropped and the money was taken care of.
Not Jessica, a spoiled brat, with long locks of blonde hair, sharp, piercing green eyes, and milky white skin as smooth as the beverage described.
A pink apron wrapped around her slender waist, she stands annoyed in the kitchen, six the morning, with a Half Asian Man, portly and bald, smoking a cigarette at the kitchen table, looking at a magazine in Japanese with a smirk on his chubby face.
"I'm tired, Haru." Jessica complained, but he didn't care. Not one bit.
In front of him, a stack of papers, piled high, are hand writings recipes, decades worth of knowledge from their recently departed paternal grandmother.
Jesscia's punishment? Learning how to make each and every recipe perfect!
And starting today, she'll be making
[If selected, the 'this or that' question would be two cookie options]
Mary Kringle, a high school freshman, loves lots of things about winter.
The Beach Boy's Little Saint Nick... actually, she really loves Little Saint Nick!
But what she loves the most, even more than poppy songs from the 60's, is Sweets!
When ever Mary thinks of December, cookies are a must!
That small, youthful brunette, with warm brown eyes, soft, chipmunk dimples, and the cutest smile craves to nibble baked treats!
This year, however, is the first year without her gran.
Which means there won't be an oven on from the first to January... unless Mary takes the initiative.
A stack of recipes piled high, she sits at kitchen table, overwhelmed.
On the fifth day of this or that, Kappa dropped the ball! (My bad. Also, is that the right expression? Sounds right, at least to me. Honestly, I'm bad at those. For example, I have no confidence responding to someone who says, do you mind? 🤣)
On the sixth day of this or that, Kappa asks twice:
Get it together, Mary. You're sixteen, you're more than capable of making cookies on your own!
Even though you can barely make a pbj as it is... and you've never used an oven on your own... plus, there was that one time with the ramen you thought was microwaveable and it started a small fire at Auntie Ruth's...
Okay, Stop! I'm being to hard on myself!
I've got all of Granny Jacoba's recipes, I tripled on ingredients, cause I'll probably burn my first two batches.
Maybe I should've quadrupled?!
No, damn it, Mary, be confident! Confident! You're a Kringle! Kringle Women have been baking cookies for generations, you should be more than capable! It's in your blood, girl!
And, God, do I wanna cookie!
Okay, what should I start with first?
Nah, I should save that for later this week.
No, that sounds too complicated.
Oh, peanut butter! That could work!
1st This or That?!
Mary ages while reading the recipe
Mary ages while eating her baked treat?
2nd This or That?!
A friend comes by to help Mary.
Mary starts hearing her Grandma's voice as she bakes.

MeanMark: Right? I maintain the opinion that they should have showed some sort of process for the TF, but still a great scene nonetheless.

kappa: I feel like the point of that scene was a conversation towards her fears with monogamous long term relationship. The Aging was merely an extension personified, AND, in the backseat of what was really going on. A couple communicating.

kappa: However, I'd have enjoyed a gradual progression, still, I kinda get that execution
