The Time Ghost Daphne Blake, a slender, redheaded beauty dressed in a purple romper with matching heels, shoulder length hair, a vibrant hue, topped with a green headband, enters an old folks home with her work colleague, Velma Dinkley, the brains of the operation, a freckled brunette dressed in an orange sweater with a red skirt and sensible loafers, sporting a pair of hipster, black framed glasses. Their mascot, Courage the Cowardly Dog, shuddering nervously from behind. "Ah yuh yuh yuh yuh." Courage mumbles. "It's okay, Courage." Velma smiles widely. "We'll be back on the road in no time!" "Ah tah yuh yuh yuh!" Courage smiles, tapping around excitedly. After all, Velma and Daphne promised burgers at Pop's Moon Palace. That Johnny Bravo is one heck of a cook! "Thanks for coming." A Nurse appears out of nowhere. www.gettyimages.com/detail/photo/smiling-female-nurse-over-white-background-royalty-free-image/1139665878?adppopup=true"AHHH!" Courage panics, his eyes widened, his jaw drops, his tongue flailing comically. "Calm down, Courage." Velma speaks calmly. "That's just the nurse we talked to over the phone. Remember?" "Uh-huh." Courage takes a breath. The nurse smiles kindly. "I'm Ms Kronos. Thank goodness you came!" Ms Kronos gushes. "After what happened to the hex girls..." "The Hex Girls?!" Velma and Daphne say in unison. "Yuh yuh yuh?" Courage says with them. "What happened to The Hex Girls?" Velma questions. "Well, see for yourself." Ms Kronos gestures towards the rec room. As the Mystery Gang entered the rec room, they were shocked to see...

Daphne, Velma, and Courage look horror at what, in some small indication, were the Eco-Friendly Goth Band, The Hex Girls. Their bodies aged significantly, their spirits high, laughing it up on a couch. www.gettyimages.com/detail/photo/senior-women-friends-laughing-on-sofa-royalty-free-image/482171651?adppopup=true"Oh, Dusk, you're outrageous!" The Senior in the middle tuts as her pear shaped friends laughs up a storm. To her left, a wide hipped octogenarian couldn't help but snort as a response. "Like you're any better, Thorn!" "Oh, hush, Luna. Go knit a sweater!" The old women continue their cackles. Their joy apparent, their lively demeanors a positive towards their advanced ages. "Jeepers, what- what happened to them?" Daphne asks with dropped jaw. "It happened this morning." The Nurse explained. "Thorn came to pick up some old knickknacks from her deceased grandma. Before I knew it..." The old hens continue their clucking. "You have to do something!" The Nurse begs. "What if it's contagious?!" "OOOOOH!" Courage howls nervously.

“Oh please, old age is in /no/ way contagious,” Velma says with a roll of her eyes. “There has to be a logical explanation here..”
Courage, visibly sweating his weight in anxiety, jumps as a large grandfather clock behind him booms menacingly.
“OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!” He jettisons behind Daphne in fear.
“Jinkies!! That’s an awfully loud clock you have there!” Velma jokes, sticking her pinky in her ear to make sure she can still hear her companions.
“Look!” Daphne points to the top of the seemingly enormous grandfather clock.
Adorning it’s face are intricate carvings of time related pieces, art, and a plump, grandmotherly woman beaming wide, with her arms outstretched. Above her, as if she’s highlighting the sun, are the words TEMPUS FUGIT in beautiful cursive.
“Time Flies? Isn’t that a silly saying,” Velma chuckles as she turns again to the nurse. “What’s the story with the noisy timepiece?”

"Oh, that?" The Nurse raises a puzzled brow. "An old man from Italy brought that years ago." The Nurse sighs. "When he died, the home kept the clock."
"Jeepers." Daphne says with eyes looking up and down, the pink dog still nervously shaking between her legs. "That thing must be worth a fortune!"
The Nurse shrugs.
Courage, at this point, decides to look at the Hex Girls, still happily chatting away, with little to no concern about their aged forms.
As Courage continues to watch, the clock ticks and, suddenly, within seconds, they vanish.
"Aaaaaaaaaah!" Courage yells in fear.
"Courage, what's the matter, boy?" Velma asks her pet with deep concern. "And where are The Hex Girls?!"
"Ubba dabba! Ubba dabba!" Courage pantomimes, becoming three, dressed as the hex girls with wigs to matched their grandmotherly styles. Courage then makes a tick sound, imitating the exact moment the aged women vanished into thin air.
"You're saying they just disappeared?" Daphne asks with a scared looked on her face.
"Uh-Huh." Courage nods.
Before anything else could be said, Velma's eyes lit up in surprise.
"Uh... Nurse Kronos?"
"Yes?"
"... Did-did you always have a streak of white in your hair?!"

“What? Oh goodness, Velma, don’t be silly! I may be ‘getting up there’ as the beauty magazines always say, but that is just ridiculous.”
But it was true, the nurse did have a thin, but noticeable streak of white in her hair, but that wasn’t all. Her smile seemed different to the group; warmer, more cheeky. That’s when Daphne realized, her face was a little softer. Suddenly there was a small bit of flesh bunched under her chin. Even her arms in her white coat seemed softer, more outlined by the fabric.
“Nurse..are you feeling ok?” Daphne prompts gently.
Courage whimpers softly in the corner, sensing a danger he’s not sure how to comprehend.

"Aaaaah!" Courage panics, The nurse's hips widening, nurse's hair going grey, her body hunching as liver spots peck at her thinning skin.
"Uh yuh yuh yuh yuh! Ah tah yuh yuh yuh yuh!" Courage points at the clock. The dog was convinced it was to blame. It just had to be!
"Are you feeling okay, Nurse Kronos?" Velma asks nervously.
"Oh, aren't you a dear!" The Nurse smiles, her age going up and up and up!
She yawns, loudly, feeling woozy.
"I better sit down." She says casually. "I can feel my knees about to give out."
Velma and Daphne look at each other nervously, look at each other up and down.
... We're they aging too?!

Instead of the teenagers they usually were, the two were much closer to their early 20’s and college days. It appeared time was moving slightly slower for them than it had for the nurse.
Velma, looking to be somewhere closer to 21 or 22, was slightly taller, with a little more heft about the belly, hips and thighs. It would appear that college had an effect on her, more than she would have thought. Her hair was also longer, and in more of a straighter style, lightly curled, falling along and around her shoulders. Her face was softer as well, but a much more mature beauty than ever before, even her glasses morphed into a chicer style than she had before. Her overall style was far more adult than teen.
She looked over to her similarly aged friend…

Her cheekbones higher, her height as well, with widened hips and a chest to match. Daphne has, inarguably, reached her 20s.
Slender, trim, fit, Velma looked up and down, finding herself, strangely, jealous. As if she new her padded form as the norm. The more she blinks, the more it felt normal.
"Jeepers, I-I think we are getting older!" Daphne panics.
"We all get older, girls." The Nurse points out, yawning in the process. "You should just thank your lucky stars you aren't my age yet."
"Aaaaah!" Courage screams.
The clock dongs, the nurse vanishes.
"Aaaaaaah!" Courage screams louder.
"Oh no, that could be us!" Velma points out.
Courage collapses in hysteria. The comic relief uncertain what will come next!

“Alright.. let’s calm down. There might be clues in this room, we should see if we can find out what’s going on. We may have been dosed with some kind of hallucinatory agent. We also seem to not be aging as quickly..” Velma places her hands gently on Daphne’s shoulders.
“O-ok..” Daphne turns to look around the room and finds herself staring at the clock, feeling uneasy.
Velma focuses on a book she didn’t notice before on a nearby table. As she pages through, much of the language is in some form of Latin.
“This is truly strange, Courage..” Velma consults her canine friend.
Meanwhile Daphne moves slightly closer to the clock to search for clues..

"Hmm.. tempus Fugit... tempus fugit?" Velma looks curious, her mind feeling strangely constricted. "Time flies? Hey, Daphne I..."
"Yes?"
"Hey, Daph..." Velma asks nervously as she eyes her bestie up and down.
"Yeah?" Velma responds, a strange look on her face. A face with wrinkles getting deeper and deeper with each passing second.
"... Did you get a haircut?" Velma asks, Daphne's hair shortened to a bob, her vibrant red dulling with a streak of white.
"Um, no?" Daphne responds, her voice strangely hoarse. "Hey..." Daphne starts to wheeze, a blotch of running down her face. "Is it getting hot in here?"
Velma, feeling strangely fatigued, her back oddly stiff, nods slowly, wincing her neck jolts in a twinge of pain.
"Maybe this old folks home has a working AC?"
"Let's hope so. It's feel like a thousand degrees in here!" Daphne speaks in hyperbole, finding her vision strangely fuzzy. "Hey, Velma?"
"Yeah?"
"Do you have a spare pair of glasses I can borrow? It's so dark in here."
Velma raises a puzzled brow.
"What?"
"Aaaaaaah!" Courage gasps.
