Thanks to all who joined in to last weeks prompt! This week I've decided to try a hypothetical and see if we can get our imaginations firing.
So this weeks prompt is:
If you could choose on TV SHOW that you would want to have an AP episode (that doesn't have one already) which show would you choose? - Bonus points if you briefly describe how the plot of the episode would play out.
You can choose a tv show from any era - maybe you'd like to see an episode of the Brady bunch where Marcia, Jan and Cindy go from dealing with issues of puberty to suddenly dealing with issues of menopause or maybe you'd like to watch an episode of Baywatch where the Fountain of Old Age springs up on the beach. Or maybe you're interested in more modern shows like an episode of the Flash where the lovely Candice Patton's Iris West and Danielle Panabaker's Caitlyn Snow fall victim to a meta that causes rapid aging.
I could make a whole top 10 list of shows i'd love to introduce an AP plot on (and i've written some spec scripts for some in my spare time) but right now I think my top choice would have to be Community. My desire to see Alison Brie and Gillian Jacobs as old ladies is just TOO big.
I'd set the episode in the first season and have Katherine McPhee and Lauren Stamile guess star again. As for plot - this is just off the cuff, I haven't thought about this one as much as some of the others (If enough people join into this weeks prompt i'd be inclined to share some of the other TV AP idea's i've thought up) but i'd crib the show O'Grady's OLD COLD plot a bit where because of some kind of chemical leak the students and faculty of Greendale Community College begin getting sick with a cold that ages you years every time you sneeze. We'd get to see Brie's Annie Edison as she ages from a teenager into a frumpy matron into a sweet little old Jewishgranny and Jacobs' Britta as she ages into a shriveled bitter old spinster as well as Jeff, one of the few people not effect having to deal with 4 of his romantic interests suddenly old enough to be his grandmother. Stamile's Professor Slater character as a 100 year old woman in a wheel chair chasing Jeff down the hallway to get him to admit that his feelings for her were just based on her looks and now that she's not young and hot he won't make-out with her in closets anymore. It'd also be fun for Chevy Chases' Pierce character to observe "Finally! I'm the youngest, hippest person in this group!"
Anyway that's my pick for this week. What's yours?

I'd never heard of the Old Cold story. Do you know where I can find it?

I was thinking of two different shows for this prompt: the old nickelodeon show Victorious and the Disney show Wizards of Waverly PlaceThe characters of Victorious are students in a performing arts school. This episode is one of those dream sequence episodes, so kind of AP. The group is assigned to perform a play featuring all elderly characters. They have trouble trying to fully get into character, so they decide to take sometime outside class to rehearse. While rehearsing a scene at her house, Tori is knocked unconscious. She then has a dream of her and her friends as geriatrics all living in her house. The group in the dream is still trying to rehearse the scene, but various senior moments prevent them from completing it. Wizards of Waverly Place depicts a trio of sibling wizards who learn about magic from their father. In this episode, the Russos siblings are learning about items that manipulate the flow of time in an area. Later that day, the Sub station is packed to capacity with customers. Alex and Harper have a concert to go to and the sheer amount of patrons will prevent them from getting there. So Alex, despite her father's warning, decides to use a magic hourglass to speed up time so that they can get to their concert. However, the device does not speed up time in the way they think. Instead, it speeds up the aging process of everybody in the shop. The only way to return to normal is to let the sands run out then flip the hourglass over. Over the course of the hour, everybody ages to around 100 years old. They adopt elderly aspects, but only Alex and Harper are fully aware of the situation. At the end, there's a moment where they almost forget how to fix everything, but everything is fixed in the end.

I'd never heard of the Old Cold story. Do you know where I can find it? You can find it on Jackpotman's Dailymotions page here, along with a bunch of other cool AP videos. And Jack - loved both of your ideas. I haven't watched either of those shows but i'm familiar with them and I think the plots you imagined are golden. You're probably already aware of this video of Tori from Victorious but if not, it's your dream come true!

Jack, great idea for Victorious.
Thanks for that video of Victoria Justice acting like an old lady, hadn't seen it before and now it's on my YouTube Age Progression list.
I did have an idea for Buffy the Vampire Slayer but unfortunately the show had two episodes that could be called AP-related by some while I would argue that it neither did. But this thread is for ideas not debates, so I have to research episodes of a cancelled-too-soon show I loved almost 15 years ago now just to make sure there wasn't an AP-related episode.

Reaper
Does anyone actually remember this show? Anyhow, a new soul is terrorizing the town in the form of an older woman running a failing nursing home. As rooms start filling, local residents start going missing. The villain comes by the hardware store where our protagonists work to buy supplies for the nursing home. Sam catches on to what the woman truly is and runs out to the parking lot where his love interest, Andi, is helping the woman load her car. However, he is too late. The woman, who comments on Andi's youth and beauty, grabs both sides of her face as a glow emits from her hands. Andi struggles, but slowly you see her hair graying and face wrinkling. The lady drives away quickly, leaving Andi on the ground to be comforted by Sam. Andi asks weakly, "What happened?" and spends the rest of the episode as an old woman.
Of course, Sam would defeat the villain for all to go back to normal. But the thought of Andi (Missy Peregrym) being transformed into an old woman has crossed my mind numerous times. Part of me feels like an OA/AP episode would have eventually happened.
There are various other shows that aired AP/OA episodes, but did not transform the character I would have liked to have seen. These include:
- Charmed - Phoebe "I've Got You Under My Skin" - PRDT - Kira Ford or Hayley "Diva in Distress"
If I think of any others, I will add.

It was cancelled way too soon, and I agree I think they totally would have done an AP episode if it had lasted. Your description of a hypothetical plot is perfect! If you were able to make this episode happen - would you use prosthetic make-up to age Missy Peregrym or would you have an elderly actress play the character for the rest of the episode? Honestly, I love this plot so much I think you should write it up as a fan-fic.

Honestly, I love this plot so much I think you should write it up as a fan-fic. Can't you tell I have thought about this several times? lol I suppose I would prefer to age Missy via makeup; this has always done more for me instead of a replacement actress (as long as the makeup is done well, of course). A fan-fic would be pretty neat; I may have to brush up on more Reaper knowledge beforehand though. Speaking of fan-fics, I have searched high and low for a Charmed fan-fic of the episode I mentioned earlier, but all seem to save Phoebe (Alyssa Milano) from being turned old. Oh well!
