Would you rather read a story about a bunch of elderly people in a nursing home that have been hypnotized into believe they are young, wild teens OR a story about a group of teenagers that have been hypnotized into believing they are senior citizens living in a nursing home?

hey all, sorry i've been so busy I haven't been around for a bit.
I did think of an interesting concept for a story recently -
I don't watch the Bachelor or shows like it but I get inundated with news stories about it on my phone. And it made me think about an idea for a fictional reality series along those lines.
So the story would be a series of episodes about a group of teenage girl vying for the heart of one studly, young, eligible guy. The twist is - each night they get 10 years older so when he finally chooses which girl he wants they'll all be in their late 90s. I was thinking that the show could be called "Biological Clock" or something like that. I've been going back and forth in my head about whether or not the girls mentally age each night as well as physically age or not. It could be fun seeing them grow more mature and their approaches to 'getting the guy' change as they age into middle aged women and then elderly. But I also think it could be fun to watch a group of 18 year old girls still act the way that girls on shows like the Bachelor act, just with saggier, wrinklier bodies.
What do you all think?

The first new discussion prompt of 2018! This one is pretty simple: In film and TV AP - do you prefer the aged version of a character to be done with prosthetic make-up on the young actor or by a look-alike elderly actor?(Provide examples of some good uses of your preferred method if you can!)I'm really a fan of using an elderly actress in the role of the age progressed character. Sometimes make-up looks good and believable but I feel like so often it comes out poorly and it takes me out of the fantasy.
Some great examples of old actresses being made to look like aged versions of their young counter-parts are the episode 'Paradise' from the Outer Limits that I linked to in my answer from last weeks prompt. And the sci-fi TV movie Do or Die: visibletime.ararchive.com/Do_or_Die3.htm

Hey everyone! Since Chrono didn't post one the in past couple of days, I decided to write a prompt for this week up myself! This week: What situations do you like to see APed characters in (whether in media or in fantasy)?
For me, I like when they have to solve a problem that would be easily accomplished in their youth, but old age makes the task much harder. I was away for the holidays for a few weeks so thanks for posting a new prompt while I was gone Jack! Personally, the situations I most enjoy seeing a character APed in are sexual or romantic situations. Something about a young, pretty girl suddenly losing her looks and sex appeal while in the presence of someone she wants to attract just DOES it for me. You all see a ton of examples of this in my stories but unfortunately for me there aren't many examples in media. The best of the few i'd say would be the episode of Misfits where the girl turns back into an old lady in the throws of sex with one of the main characters. Kind of quintessential my favorite kind of AP moment. Another example (though this is after the fact - less fun) is the opening scene to the Outer Limits episode Paradise: www.dailymotion.com/video/x5ddhho Both examples involve women that are already old just temporarily made young again, so i'd LOVE for a show or film where the girl is actually a young woman and turned old in the midst of getting steamy with someone.

Yeah this sounds like a really cool idea! The best thing you can do is just start writing it! I look forward to reading it when you're done!

m.imgur.com/a/nMP38Heya sorry it's been a while guy,i Decided to make a comic to flesh out the idea better, hopefully this link works Man I REALLY love your work! This one was really enjoyable to read. I especially like the little comments she makes while she's regressing like needing to be young again because she has a hot date or her celebrating her back pain finally going away. Awesome job! I'll echo other members request to do one (or several) depicting a hot young woman getting the opposite transformation and going from sexy young thing to shriveled old lady (hopefully with her own fun comments and lamentations as her body changes).

Thanks! I'm glad you like it. I wrote this story a looooooong time ago. I enjoy the idea of AP in fairy-tales. One of my earliest 'crushes' pre-adolescence was Aurora in Sleeping Beauty. I would love to see her aged into an old crone.

Ho Ho Ho everyone! In honor of the classic holiday trope of the sexy young woman transforming into a roly-poly Mrs. Claus look-alike This weeks prompt is: do you prefer WEIGHT GAIN or NO WEIGHT GAIN with AP transformations? If you're able to - please elaborate on your preference. Also feel free to answer if you don't have a preference either way!
I myself prefer NO WEIGHT GAIN. I'm a big fan of the 'frail, thin, little old lady' type. I've definitely been convinced in some cases to include some weight gain in the transformations I write, just out of a logical approximation of how a woman might look when she's old - if she's a little chipmunk cheeked and curvy as a teen it's likely that she'll bloat up in middle age and keep some of that weight in old age. But those kinds of descriptions do less for me than a descriptions of a pretty girl in impeccable shape dwindling down into a tiny shriveled weak granny.
Also bonus points for whoever shares a sexier picture of 'elderly mrs. claus'. This was the sexiest one I could find - and that's to say, not sexy at all.

While I do like the ray and curse aspects to the aging of an individual or group, a reverse AR virus type deal I also really appreciate; honestly this aging fetish for me started with a movie called Do or Die. Essentially a virus that causes intense aging in individuals runs rampant and a young woman has to save the world. Problem though, there are only a two good sequences in the movie...still decent though. I LOVED this movie. I taped it when it first aired and still have it on VHS somehwere in my parent's basement. The two scene's you're talking about are the ones at around the 10:30 mark and the 57:30 mark correct? I'm thrilled that the full thing is viewable on youtube but I agree, I wish there had been more transformation scenes. It was kind of fun in the scene around 25 minutes in with the middle aged woman clearly acting like a 15 or 16 year old. I also wish there had been more of that. Mark - thanks for sharing the Supergirl episode. I hadn't been aware of that and it definitely is reminiscent of AP even if it isn't as blatant as the comic book fight between Supergirl and Parasite: vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/marvel_dc/images/6/61/Supergirl_Vol_4_35.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20090111164407

Thanks for the comments and thoughts everyone. I really appreciate it. The 5 and final version of the story is posted. Now that it's all up there i'd love to hear from people what they specifically liked in it or had questions about or things they had wished I had done different etc.
Also which of the 5 scenes did you think worked the best?

Hope everyone isn't getting too bogged down by the holiday season! Here's a prompt to hopefully liven things up around here some! What is your favorite METHOD of age progression from TV, film, stories etc.?
Some examples might be like an AGE RAY; An AGING CURSE; An AGE SWAP etc. Get as specific as you can - use examples if you've got 'em!
I think one of my favorites has to be the UNIVERSAL REMOTE as means of aging people. The Chronos Continuum by Nomdreserv was one of the first stories I ever read that involved age progression and the idea of having a remote that could change anyones age or any aspect of their age gave me goosebumps! I love the infinite possibilities that a remote provides in terms of the transformations.
If you're interested in reading the story I mentioned above you can read it here it involves multiple Male and Female AR & AP of various types: old.ararchive.com/classic/nomdreserv/nomdreserv.html

Yeah, missed opportunity for sure. Though with not many prominent female characters in the film beside Vultures own daughter we'd likely just end up with so very high quality male AP. But we also could have had a scene where Marisa Tomei suddenly matches the Aunt May in the comics ;-) How would you envision a scene in the movie if the Vulture had the same powers from the 90s cartoon? Another fun one would have created a call-back to the animated series and have Debra Whitman be a victim. Her aging in the cartoon sticks out to me; although quick, it is really well done and her reaction is pretty good. I really like the line "He made me ooooooldddd!" in the shaky old-lady voice.
