A new form of lottery drains a portion of your youth in exchange for X amount of money.
Question: Would this be an appropriate system?:
100 Dollars= 1 Month
1,000 Dollars= 1 Year
10,000 Dollars= 10 years
50,000 Dollars= 50 years
100,000 Dollars= 100 years

It's better to give 12month than 1 year, but I like the idea.

If you do a story with it would especially be interesting if done with the prosthetically lifespan extension cyborg grannies and grandpas as described in Bruce Sterling's Schismatrix if Kappa you ever take the time to acquire and read that particular book and then have the characters be real life big time celebrities and pop culture established fictional celebrities characters as the story characters than logically it would make sense for your idea of 10,000 Dollars= 10 years
50,000 Dollars= 50 years 100,000 Dollars= 100 years.

I just wanna say, in some ways, I sincerely understand this cyborg granny thing you're into right now, Keith. I'm pretty sure we have different reasons though, BUT, I genuinely am turned on by the idea of a cyborg grandma. Everything about that, the way I'm picturing it, excites the hell out of me.
God willing, I will get to see millennials/gen z grandmas with cybernetic implants... Okay, I doubt I personally will get to see that, but if there is a lord, if they are kind, I will get to see the youths of today wrinkled with sexy chrome implants.
That being said, sorry, I don't see myself writing about cyborg grandmas at the moment. And if I do, it will probably not be the way you're going for.
I mean, I'm picturing like a chunky, 72 year old bartender with one spongy arm heavily tatted and the other a robotic implant. I'm picturing her cockney, super into the Arsenal Football Club, dyed pink hair half shaved, a short, surly old codger with a love for booze and robotic Handy-Js for weed.
But that's just me. If I ever write about a cyborg grandma, Brit Trash Cyborg is what I'm going for.

If I ever write about a cyborg grandma, Brit Trash Cyborg is what I'm going for. I understand it was simply what your loan system made me think of since it was one of the few ways that I could see it work especially with 100,000 dollars= 100 years and if it involved was those that are already anywhere between their 30s-90s years old of age unless they were able to eventually gradually prosthetically/cyborgishily extend their lifespans they wouldn't necessarily be able to remain alive to spend the 100,000 dollars that they had borrowed acquire by age gradual progressing themselves additional 100 years. That is if you weren't necessarily planning on age progression those who were anywhere between a few weeks old to 20 years old which could possibly work although arguably unless they were between their teens years to twenty years old that would be awfully way to young. Since their wouldn't be much of a understanding of how to properly manage conservitively spend the money unless you incorporated gradual flashforwarding and reality warping in adjacent to the age progression.

I will let you be on this particular topic I simply wanted to attempt explaining why I was thinking the direction of thoughts that I was thinking. Even if it might not necessarily prove successful.
