So I searched the hashtag #Gmilfs on Insta and got exactly what you would expect - a bunch of women in their 60s and 70s strutting their wrinkly, graying stuff. Then I searched #GGmilf and what I found was more intriguing - TONS of pics of sorority girls. Many with captions like "I'm so old my grandkids have grandkids! Oh well - i'm still a GGMilf!" and "We still dress like we're freshmen even though we're Great-grans! Oh well! Time flies!" I did some quick research and learned that sorority houses use the terms 'grans' and 'great-grans' as part of a kind of familial hierarchy within the sorority. So incoming freshman are assigned to a girl in the sorority and the freshman becomes a 'little' and the mentor becomes the 'big' but the the big's big is now a 'grand-big' and her big becomes a 'great-grand-big'. And there are also terms for like cousins and aunts etc. Here's the whole breakdown of the terms. But the idea of college sorority upper-classmen refering to themselves and taking on the role of grandmas and great-grandmas to the freshmen girls has AP story written all over it. Please share any ideas you can think of about this!

I’m more in the camp “Gran for weekend” trope with varying members having to contend with time. Each aging some and having a girls weekend with the local community home. Tea and titties with girls🤣

Alright, on a Friday night after all the "littles" pass initiation into the sorority they learn why there this hierarchy because suddenly all the seniors, aka the "great-grandbigs", start aging into centenarians. Followed by the juniors, aka "grandbigs", who age to roughly 75 years old GILFs and the sophomores, aka "bigs", who ago to roughly 45-50 MILFs. The newly aged GILFs and MILFs head out to party and seduce "innocent" young men while the "littles" have to take care of their great-grans over the entire weekend until Sunday night when they return to their real ages.
The "littles" are expected to be at the great-grans' beck and call every weekend during the school while listening to them reminiscence about their years as MILFs and GILFs then everything they had to do for their great-grans "back in the day". By the time the school year is over, the littles can't wait to have fun as MILFs and GILFs then subjecting littles to humiliating situations when they come great-grans.

One of the Littles is with two of her male freshmen friends who see one of her senior sorority sisters strut by and they're like: "Wow Stacy is *so* hot...." and the girl is like: "Ew gross! She's my great-gran! I have to change her depends every saturday!"

I think it's interesting to consider that for an entire generation of folks in the 1940s and 50s, Angela Lansbury was a beautiful young ingenue. It would be fun to travel to the future to discover that in the year 2080 - young people all know Dakota Fanning as the old lady that plays the elderly detective in that long running mystery show and also voiced that matronly character in that Disney film when they were kids. For anyone who likes seeing characters at various life stages - if you haven't watched the show Dark yet on Netflix, you should!

Are they using the same actors with the assistance of character age progression makeup for that sort of thing with the show?

Are they using the same actors with the assistance of character age progression makeup for that sort of thing with the show? No, it is different actors portraying the characters at each age range (child, teen, adult, elderly etc.)

If one were to conceive an 'Age Roller Coaster' which would be better:
You're very elderly (~100) at the lowest elevation and a teenager at the highest peaks - so you get younger and younger as the coaster climbs up and then tumble towards old age as the coaster barrels down the slope?
or
You start out as a teen at the bottom, growing older and older every time the coaster ascends upward until you're a shriveled old person at the top of the hill and then tumble back towards your youth as the roller coaster rides back down?

For all of you middle-age weight gain fans - sorry I can share pics to illustrate this anecdote - but thanks to the magic of Facebook, I discovered tonight that one of the worst mean-girls in my high school graduating class, who was a classic size 6 'hot blonde' when I last saw her is now 250lbs. mother of FIVE in her mid-30s, she looks about 10 years older than any of the rest of my classmates and spends her time posting anti-vaxxer articles on social media and posting the FB equivalent of chain letters.
If anyone was wondering if the stereotype of 'popular high school girl + 20 years = Karen' was a real thing - I assure you it is!

I'm really impressed by how well that AP of Maisie Williams came out in the T/M/G game. I feel like faceapp has really evolved and improved upon their aging software and its now really accounting for face structure etc when aging the person. Not too long ago the only face aging apps would basically just morph a face with the face of an existing old lady. So everybody's 'old person face' all looked vaguely similar but I think faceapp has really gotten to the point where it is intuiting how a person will age so we are seeing much more variety in the final results from person to person.
Now my hope is that sooner rather than later it'll be able to age a full-body image accurately!

Next year is the 80th anniversary of Archie comics. Which means that had they all aged naturally, Betty and Veronica would look like this now:
