ap-lover.itch.io/chronovoreHey everybody, this is the rough cut version 0.0.0.6 of the twine game I was working on. Give it a look and feel free to play around with the debug/start stats to try and get different results. A lot of the stuff in it is still not fully implemented so don't fret if it doesn't work quite right. I'm mostly putting it up to catch some ideas and get a feel for what people think about where it can go from here At the moment I'm still trying to decide on a lot of things about it so the more feedback and recommendations you have the better. In particular on the docket is whether or not to add in an added layer of classic rpg-ness in the form of actual combat against monsters and such or to keep the whole thing focused solely on age related stuff. The second big question is the actual way to implement combat, both the solely age based combat i have now as well as combat in the future. As it stands combat is purely a dice roll with modifiers affecting the players chance to get good neutral or bad rolls but I'm interested to hear any ideas people might have for what they'd like to see.

Also if you have an idea for a character youd like to see let me know name, description, personality and how youd like to see them age and I can see about putting them in now that i have a framework to build off of.

It's a lot of fun for what's available! I think a little bit of rpg-like combat could work well with this, be it age related or not. As for how the combat works I think I'd need to see if any items can affect how it goes but the dice roll idea is a solid start. Overall it was enjoyable and I can't wait to see more.

In regards to Luestra's point I'm hoping that I can get a dialogue going a bit more on that front. Given how data light all of this twine stuff is I don't think it would be too hard to add in more variables and build up a full standard rpg framework with classic stats and have that be alongside the age based stats. The player would then be able to fight random monsters in the woods or something and get coins or such to spend in the shop. Or I keep it focused purely on age related shenanigans and just make combat power based on physical age or something. At the moment im debating how to implement the items that ive gotten put into the inventory. My current thought is tying them to a certain debuff (pads/depends to counter or mitigate incontinence, glasses for poor eyesight ect) and having a chance that a debuff can occur if the player has that debuff. Then if you have the debuff you get some flavor text and a penalty added to your roll unless you bought or have an item to counter it. If anyone's got any thoughts about items and whatnot then I'd love to hear them.

Since I moved the age stuff to the debug menu it would be nice to put back in a place that the player can go to to change their age and stuff. Like a salon along the lines of "spend large amount of money to get more youth or sell youth for less than you'd pay." like spend 20 gold pieces for 10 years of youth sell 10 years of youth for 10 gold pieces.

Perhaps also include aging potions and the max age is 100. Do you mean a potion with 100 as the max amount it can change or the max age for characters being 100? If its the latter then the max age is already at 110 just to leave room for EXTREME OA if people have an interest in that. Also what did you mean by baggier clothes? If its in regards to how things are being described then i can make some quick tweaks to add that in as the characters are getting aged.

Like the clothes not fitting their aged bodies that well hence being loose and baggy.
