Hey fellow AP fans. I was thinking about how many people in my past couple interactive stories requested characters progress to extreme old age (Which for the sake of conversation i'll define as 110+ years of age) and how many people seemed interested in reading about characters aging past the normal human life span.
So I thought it might be fun and interesting to start a discussion about it! I encourage anyone who has expressed interest in extreme old age AP to reply to this thread and speak to what they enjoy about it, how they envision someone that old looking or being like, any sort of insight into what intrigues you about aging someone to that old!
And if that's not your cup of tea I encourage you to join in the conversation and speak to what you do like and why you cap your preferred age where you cap it!
This is not meant to be a debate - there's no wrong answer, just different preferences but I think talking about it could shad some light on it for writers like me to better describe it in the future!

Although Senior AP attracts me, a range from 65-90, I simply adore milfs, cougars, soccer moms, and women going through the bliss and agony that is menopause.
WG is one of my fetishes, Middle Aged AP compliments so very nicely!
Something about food and a loss of being "cool" really gets me going! That, and a heavy element of motherhood. Just lovely ❤️
Pregnancy is another joy to my eyes.
Why I wouldn't go past 100 is simple: 80 & 90 just became the norm, more or less. Sure, I had two great grandmothers die in their 90s and early 100s. But that's not normal. Statistics tell me, in my country, life expectancy can be averaged out to 80.
And I'm not saying such realism strongly dictates my interest, merely there is some sense of realism for me.
There is no such thing as a 160 year old. Yet that is. And honestly? The one I picture in my head seems utterly miserable. I like a little misery, but darn it, I'm a softy at heart that loves seeing a little joy left in a TF Victim! 🤣

I'll kick the discussion off by saying my own piece - My preferred age ranges are typically aging women from between the ages of 16 - 35 into old women between the ages of 80 and 100 typically. I don't mind the 100 - 120 range and feel like it can be a fun thing to sprinkle in sparingly but I prefer the majority of changes to be in that upper natural old-age range. Like the nursing home crowd. Even though AP is a fantastical sci-fi kind of thing in the first place, I do enjoy some realism in the aging to ground it. So here are some fun-facts: - The average female life expectancy (as of 2019) in the US (Where the majority of my stories are set) is 81.4 years old. It's shamefully the 34th highest in the world. - The highest female life expectancy in the world (as of 2019) is held by Japan and is 87.5 years. - There are currently between 150 and 600 people alive over the age of 110 years old. This number has slowly been climbing over the last 60 years. - Only 47 people have EVER been documented as having reached the age of 115 or above. Of those 47 only 4 are currently alive. This is Hester Ford: She is the oldest living person in the US at the time of this post. She turned 114 in August of 2019. This is Sarah Knauss: She was the oldest person ever in the US and the second-oldest documented person ever. She died in December 1999 at the age of 119! This is what she looked like when she was a spry 90-something (over 20-years younger than in the above photo): This is Kane Tanaka of Japan: She is the oldest person in the world as of the time of this posting, reaching the age of 117 years and 132 days. And this is Jeanne Louise Calment of France: She is largely considered to be the oldest recorded person in history. She died on August 4th 1997 and at the time of her death her documented age was 122 years and 164 days. BUT now her record is in question because researchers have recently claimed that Jeanne's daughter Yvonne actually STOLE her mothers identity in 1934 when her mother died at the age of 59 in order to avoid paying inheritance taxes! Yvonne would have been 35 at the time making the woman in the photo above only 99 years old at the time of her death. So all this being said - we don't actually really know yet what living 120 year olds LOOK like yet, nevermind 130, 140, 150, 160 year olds.

Nice; my time to shine.
At first with this fetish, I usually only went as high as around 70-80. But after seeing some art from DrainAge and such, the idea of aging past those numbers really intrigued me. I've commission a multitude of artwork hitting around 90-100 years old in recent years and somehow even have one with the subjects aging well into the 150s; now, I've studied in biology and know even the oldest hume is about 122 years old, but the thought of someone aging a bit past that having to do well...anything fascinates me. You can entertain the idea of a 110 year old due to it being somewhat possible but even in that commission there we other circumstances that would have allowed them to survive. So my sweet spot is 100-120 years old; while extreme in idea its moderately possible. And due to me enjoying the shriveling aspect of aging, being that old guarantees that.

Yeah I do enjoying the shriveling/shrinking/growing frail aspect of aging so I think that's why I like it to go up into 80+. My grandmother is turning 98 at the end of the year and her mind is still sharp as a tack but she needs a walker to get around and like even going down a small flight of steps involves her to cling on tightly to something. I helped her out a bit during the holidays this past year and it was really interesting to me how some of the simplest things that we take for granted like swallowing a medium sized piece of food or holding something steady is VERY challenging for someone in their late 90s. And it really got me thinking about what hot young athletic women I know today will be like when they get to be my gran's age.

Honestly, a wasting effect is really nifty to see; Wyattx does ungrowth almost precisely like I enjoy to see with aging process, but the fun stuff with aging are the prospects of the weighty granny getting well into her 80-90 and dealing with the excess skin. TOBATO has been able to really capture that aspect of aging for me as well, all that wrinkled flesh. But the scenario of an athletic young woman just jogging and having to contend with muscle wasting and fat accumulation is always a win.

Fat in the belly, thighs and rear! ♥️ But seriously, you get more, well, examples of women in the 80-90 range. Especially this day and age. Like Chrono explained, there aren't exactly a lot of 120 year old wheeled around. My Irish Great Gran, her husband a Boxer who came to the states through a circuit, apparently went to Target to get a slurpie every week till the day she died. She had her mind, but, not exactly her body. I was too little to go to the funeral. My 90 Year old Great Gran, who immigrated to the states as a child from England, died around the Time "Kick-Ass" was in theaters. Why this that important? She read its review at the kitchen table. It was... it was an interesting experience. We didn't have a relationship for most of my childhood, she and her husband (thankfully not related to me 😸) didn't approve of my Mom's Marriage, but, when they entered their 90s, things changed. A little. Anyways, that woman had a more or less heathy body, but a mind struggling with Alzheimer's. Just saying, a world where there's 120, 130, 140, and so on, realistically, is a world that has advanced medicines than what we have now.

The only example in my mind for some advanced aged individuals is Futurama; Fry's Uncle and that tech lady...weren't they like a 140 years old? Even then they just looked.....well, old. So even for our fetishism, the most you'll see is pretty much a very elderly looking person: thinning hair and extreme wrinkles? Not saying I don't see the appeal of 160 year old, but the look would be either mummy or just your usual 100 year old.

But we're talking about the year 3000, where humanity has been all over the universe.

I would love to hear from more Old age AP fans! What's your upper limits to AP? What do you find most interesting about a woman aging past 120?

I really agree with kappa.
My favorite AP is from about 35 - 50. I really enjoy the aesthetic of a young person losing their youth before their time and becoming frumpy and more importanly how the characters react to suddenly being taken from the prime of their life to becoming like their mothers well before their time.
I like the philosophically qeustion as well like when a character ages and loses all their former interests and hobbies, are they really even the same person anymore? We like to think we have this " self" which persists through our life admist all the changes we experience but what would be that thing that remains constant? having characters grapple with qeustions like this is very interesting for me.

"Keeping Up Appearances" is a term (and tv show) that has meant a lot to me. Very much goes with this "self" thing you were talking about. That bottom heavy PTA Mom that loves putting up Minions, Wine, and Motivational Memes, like everyone else is just a facade. Humans are nothing but fronts and our identities? Characters we play. Weird way to say it, but, hear me out, I think an 86 year old who barely remembers who the fuck she is, let alone her grandkids, gets reality better then anyone else. And it's that state of mind I find fun with TF. Especially AP. 👍
