Hey everyone! It's that time again for the discussion prompt of the week. There's also a really great thread started by MeanMark asking your personal AP preferences. Check that out and weigh in if you haven't already!
For today's prompt my question is:
What is your favorite setting for an AP story?
I personally am partial to a high school or college campus. Anywhere there is a large congregation of pretty young women and I think schools are a cool setting for a story because they have their own social ecosystem - so a characters friends, love interests, enemies, authority figures etc. will all be there to interact with as AP shenanigans play out.
Although I would be remiss if I didn't mention that i've had a consistent fantasy since I was an adolescent of a group of friends going to a 2 story house and each room causes a change - so maybe the living room makes you mentally an infant but your body is its normal age, and the dining room you're physically elderly but mentally your normal age etc. So a house like that I think would be a fun setting for a story as well!

Check that out and weigh in if you haven't already! Thanks for the shout out! As for settings, I really do not have a preference. Schools or large social settings are typically ideal, due to the amount of people around. At this point, I have seen it done in so many various locations it is hard to pick a favorite. Remember "Party Bus" from Regular Show?

I do remember party bus, Mark! It reminded me of an episode from the show, Hero:108. I find myself liking this kind of environment where you see time move quickly and the people age just as fast.

I had always seen caps of that show, but never the actual episode. Pretty good tf -- thanks for the link! I had always hoped that Regular Show would revisit an OA transformation, especially for Margaret or Eileen. While showcasing a good TF for both, I did not feel like the episode showcased their transformation enough.

Chrono knows this about me already but my favorite settings are any settings that feature water... a shower, a sauna, a spa, a hot tub, a pool or a beach. Any excuse to read about a wet, aging body just gets me going.
